straightening hair at home

please a friend of mine has asked me whether it is possible to buy home hair straightening kits in HK (not GHDs as she has this already) she is looking for what the salons use to straighten hair - she lives in London and wants me to take some over for her.

Any ideas?

Yes they sell the kits but they also sell hand guns and most that do the home kits like these wish they had. The main issue here is even distribution and proper coverage and remember that once that damage is done it takes away from everything...I have to run let me know is you need specific information..cheers

Bio-Ionic is a brand distributed out of NY. Its head Fernando Romero (hope I remember the spelling) is a great guy and manufactures good sound products. However the basis of this product is that it straightens hair...meaning it breaks the protein bonds with a chemical and then reconfigures them with neutralizer. The Ions can help with the conditioning however do not loose track of the fact that it is still a chemical relaxer. Most of their products are for professionals and I believe that Fernando still holds this true though you might check directly. I have enclosed his web site for you...cheers
