European quality facial

Could anyone recommend facials with a highly-trained expert, someone who could also do facial massage and give advice on anti-aging, blemishes, etc. I understand that in Europe the training is intense and would like to find someone with this expertise in Hong Kong.

you should phone around and ask for the qualifications of the therapists.

many locally trained therapists (myself included) qualified with CIBTAC or ITEC. both of these are through the UK. They actually send examiners to HK a few times per year to conduct the exams. there are both theoretical and practical exams. You need to pass both parts or you fail.

The french qualification is CIDESCO. I don't know of any places in HK that offer this course, but you may luck out and find someone who studied it overseas.

Hi Cara, thanks for the advice. The reason I asked about massage is I understand if it is done incorrectly, you can cause damage to the skin, whereas if done by a properly trained therapist, massage can slow the effects of aging.
