Hi there, I am hoping to spend a day with my 16 year old daughter and enjoy some spa treatments. We are looking for a recommendation for a massage, facial, pedicure, manicure and a really good hairdresser who can blow wave curly hair! I know that all the 5 star hotels offer these services but I thought somone may know of somewhere less costly but still in a real clean professional environment. Thanks Marie

Nice idea, hope I am not to late for you I have been crazy busy...I would actually stick with the Hotels if you want a package as they have the amenities. It will work out in the long run if lunch or other things might be included. Another idea, I have worked with the Mandarin Landmark on several occasions to do the hair at the hotel after a spa say or massage. They have arranged a room for us at no extra cost, you can use who you like if they are comfortable there. I have a client that manages the spa if you like me to ask...just check with your hairdresser to see if they can accommodate you...cheers

'hair and beauty' salon..both hair and beauty together at same place.
i will suggest 'the Firm in Central,25256696.
i know many good hair salons but they got no beauty..or many good beauty spas but no hair dressing.

Hi Psaila,
This may be a little late for you and your daughter, but I just wanted to let you know myself and my daughter spent a lovey afternoon at The Firm, Salon, Spa and Retreat in the Centrium building on Wyndham st, last week, we both had massages, the threapists were amazing Thai girls Mam and Su, followed up with a facial, mami pedi, then we were given a complementary wash, treatment and blowdry. We were both thrilled, it was a fantastic experience and I would highly reccomend it.
It is a lovely enviroment and we both felt very pampered,
