For XYZ reasons, I am now planning my own wedding, which I am dreading as I have no idea where to start. Recently moved in HK so this place is new to me. If anyone has planned or attended a wedding with a good view, where food is decent, and the cost of the package isn't too hefty, can you please share.
I'm expecting around 100 max and hoping to hold the wedding Feb/Mar 2008. If you have experience in negotiating prices etc.. do tell also!! I get ripped off alot here.
Thanks a trillion!!
PS: If you're looking move into wedding planning and want a guinea pig - use me!! I'd happy delighted to have someone help with the planning.
The List recently did a weddings issue with loads of the info you will need - why don't you call them to see if you can get a back issue. I have it and can email you the pages if you want.
If you want an all in one..ceremony and reception in the same place, I know Madison's Restaurant in Central has a good deal going with a celebrant. They'll do all the room decoration and food for you too. No need to do anything just invite your guests and buy a dress.
Hi! willing to give you a hand, except the financial part... that was a joke! Anything i can help you with let me know, i have alot of free time and i'm a bit handy with arts and crafts.
You're a champ! I'm kinda procrastinating - not sure where to start. Looking at venues now. You know of any nice places with water views, that's not too pricey. Arts and crafts..umm.. maybe you can help design the invites.
What do you think of my chances of getting the wedding finalised in a month?
