You don't need to consult a doctor, but can see a well reputed beauty business that does IPL or Laser treatments. Indian skin is best treated with IPL, as this is a safer treatment for darker skin types. (I am based in Hong Kong) Posted by mayita (232 days ago) Actually, genuine laser is usually not recommended for darker skin, as the laser is sensitive to melanine and heat it, hence bad skin burns if your skin is packed with melanine (be it due to suntan or natural).... similarly blonde & red hair will not be destroyed by the laser as they do not contain melanine...
