Travel with family in November

Hi All,
What are the best bets for travel in November? We are thinking something close to HK since we are going for a long weekend. Something beachy with good kids activities would be ideal.

You have many options around you as every place is within 2-4 hour plane ride. Beach family resorts.. Phuket, Ko Samui, Kota Kanabulu, Langkawi, Cebu are the common known. Whenever we travel we always aim to stay at a Shangri-La as most are very kid friendly and have activities for them.

1 Shangri-la Singapore in Sentosa, Singapore is on the beach.
2 In Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Empire Hotel is great and on the beach (except they do not sell liquor although you can bring you own for consumption in private). Water Village, small boat rides, museum etc... Check their tourism website for more.
3. There might be some deals ie promotion on RBA and Empire Hotel.
