Perth / Margaret River

We are thinking of flying to Perth for Easter holidays
and renting a house/villa in that area for 2 weeks.
I've heard Margaret River is very nice, can anyone recommend a specific place to go? Any advise/suggestion is welcome!

Dunsborough is a good place to base yourself, which is about 40 minutes north of Margaret River (and 3-hour south of Perth). It is a very popular destination and Easter will therefore be really busy. Great beaches (from swimming, diving, to surfing) and the stretch from Dunsborough to Margaret River has dozens of magnificent wineries with world-class chardonnays and cabernets!
