Installing DVD Copy Games on PC

I have recently bought some game discs on DVD at 298 for my son, and don't know how to install them to play on my PC. All the game files etc are there, but can someone please explain in simple steps what I need to do to install and play the game?
Before, when I bought games in CD format, the "install" prompt usually came up automatically after inserting the disc into the drive. Do I need special software to install and play from DVD? I know very little about this, so keep it simple please, if you can help.

Assuming that there are more multiple games on the dvd then what should happen is that you click on whatver your dvd drive is called on the p.c, I.E E drive and that should open up a window with the contents of the dvd inside.

Once you get this, then click on the icon for that game and it should install and run the said game.

Sorry Maybe I wasn't clear. It is a COPY game on DVD format. When I open the DVD all the files are there,including the keygen etc, but it will not install, and I don't know how to proceed.I think I may need some extra software to play games copied onto DVD?

could well be a dodgy copy and thus not be working.

try clicking the files with icons,maybe one of them will work!
If there are some keygens, you may bought a pirate copy,which is illegal!
LOL!!
