Didgi sender

Hi does anyone know if you can use a digi sender atached to your TV in the living room say to send the Now broadband tv signal to the TV in the bedroom.
We used to do this in UK with Sky but i'm not sure if it would work in Hong Kong and would rather not buy the equipment if it's not gonna work.
