Broadband options in Guangzhou

What are the broadband options in Guangzhou? I will be moving there in August and I need to know if I will be able to do web testing. And what type of websites are filtered? Many thanks.

Few English website are blocked. I just know wiki, bbc sometimes. But Many Chinese website are blocked if they have any SENSITIVE info

Sounds like I might be able to access the site then. Excellent. What about broadband, would it be possible to get say 2Mbps dowload speed and 129kbps upload and if for what price and who's the provider. Thanks for your help gzexpert.

Mine Internet provider is China Telecom, the nominal speed is 2M, the price is 1380RMB for one year. I feel the speed is ok. but the REAL speed is lower than 2M.

Last december I went to China Telecom with one friend. They told me the fastest speed is 3M for family user. For company user can get higher speed

The net is daaaaamn slow to any website outside china.
