Xbox360, HDTV, AV equip TO HK

Dear fellow TeCH-HEaDs!

'Just accepted an offer in HK (yay!) and after my 3 months trial-period is up in Feb, I will go get my US gear. For similar folks, have you had any issues with:

--Audio/Video Receiver, Speakers, Tape Deck?
--Plan on buying a new NTSC HD-XBox 360
--Planning a 42" for less $. (HK Digital TV "should" work)

comments please? A Transformer for 110 to 220/240..

Why not buy here - at least it'll be fully functional in HK - unlike many North American stuff, shipped here at [someone's] great expense and becoming little better than "Boat anchors"?

Well, I'm going to ship everything via a Container so I'll have lots of room for extra stuff :)

The receiver is already paid for. The US has more games for the US-NTSC based XBox360 (region coded). And the 42" HDTV is $1000 vs $3000 (do the math)

I always thought electronics in the states was more expensive then that in HK....

or you mean $1000US vs $3000HK.. hehe :)

No.. that's US$1000 in the US (Circuit City) vs US$3000 in HK (Fortress, Broadway)

Is there anyone here who's moved to APAC with their HDTV LCD? Aside from the Power requirements, any hitches?
