Anyone bought the game yet? The long anticipated game on the Xbox 360.... today, we got it. And to our huge surprise.... the audio language is ONLY in Mandarin. My husband is SO mad.....

Anyone got an English version that works ?

Did u asked whether it's in english when u bought it? Otherwise do start asking whenever u buy games here in HK as most of it are in chinese for the local market. My friend just bought one, same as urs..mandarin ver. He actually lined up for 3 hrs to get that game the night before it was launch...haha!

ok, found out lots more informat about this. My husband is SO upset.
Apparently, the official version for HK is overvoiced in Mandarin. Alot of angry Halo 3 fans .... in the gamespot forum, there is a ton of posts. People are VERY upset.

They said if you preordered, this Saturday, you can go to Grand Century Plaza in Mongkok ,with your receipt and the game in box, exchange for an English version.

Unfortunately, my husband bought his in Golden Arcade. No exchanges offered yet for our situation.

There are lots of people planning to buy the Sinagpore version because it's zone free.

It's pathetic, and dumb decision by MS Hong Kong.

Sometimes i wonder, do this game vendors not know that HK has a lot of xpats, real pathetic! Can't they bring in both versions? Next time, do check first before buying, that's wat i do now.

Am still trying to get an xbox elite unit but was told that it's sold out and stocks will only arrive maybe around x'mas. Fyi, MS HK is useless...lots of info. that they don't even know...wat's the purpose of putting their contacts online...duh! And seems that most of the dealers registered in xbox.com.hk is not friendly n helpful at all!
