My computer is affected with this virus, any idea how to properly get rid of it? It seems quite a typical but difficult to remove virus, and there are also websites (via google) that appear to remove it, but actually add a further virus to your machine. I'm looking for some genuine way to remove it completely please - it definitely changes several keys in the Registry.

Symantec is the maker of Norton's Anti-Virus programs and they often give detailed advice on how to remove specific viruses.

Looks like this form of the W32.Myzor virus tries to trick you into downloading supposed malware removal programs which probably will just make things much worse. Looks like it's a hassel to get rid of though. Good luck.
