Sanyo PLV-Z5 HT projector

I have decided to buy the latest Sanyo PLV-Z5 projector, to be used as a dedicated home cinema movie only application. We are getting a custom av cabinet built that will have a 100 inch diagonal 16 x 9 screen that will pull down in front of a 37 inch LCD TV.

Main reason is that this projector has off axis lens shift capability, meaning the projector can sit on the left or the right hand side of our couch, instead of having to be in the centre of the room, and it has a optical zoom of 2 to 1, meaning a 100 inch image can be achieved at 3 metres distance from the screen.

My main question is, who has the best deal going in HK on this model, from what I have seen the prices offered in HK are the RRP price, yet online from B & H USA etc, I can save 20% inc air freight for a multi voltage 100V ~ 240V model.

Whats the best thing to do ? Buy it here or in the US-Japan ?

I am not really all that concerned about the warranty issue, even if there is a local HK shop who privately import their stock ex japan, I am happy to purchase. If anybody knows of a store, message me via control panel and send me an AX email.

Id love to know if you had eny luck with this as i'm now in the same kinda boat. A quick net search threw up this http://www.hivizone.com/local-shop/projector.htm
It has the Z5 listed as $1.2USD, have or did you find it eny cheaper?
