Need Mac help fast

My girlfriends Mac hard drive crashed and she needs to find someone who can extract it. She is leaving soon so its kind of an emergency. Any help would be great...my number is 91536583 if you have any direct contacts just text me...thanks.

I'm probably too busy to help, but what is it you need to extract from the drive? Or do you mean you need to remove the drive from the computer? It's a bit difficult to determine what you need here.

My girl friends Mac just quit and she cannot get any information to come up or for it to reboot. It seems the system completely crashed. She just needs to extract the data on the hard drive...thanks.

What happens when she boots from the OS X install CD? Can she see the HD?

Now you should take the old drive and put it in a cheap external enclosure ($100-$200) then see if you can access the files.
