I have heard about this on Indian TV but did not take down the ingredients and now I forgot what were they.
Does anybody here now how to make this indian vegetarian kebabs? I know some of the ingredients were spinach and carrots. I also don't mind recipes for non-veg kebabs too.
Plus, I would like to buy a oven. Can anybody recommend a good, compact, small oven?
hey old mac, I just searched the tefal website and they have three different types of ovens...not sure which one you are referring to. Can you give me a hint???? Thanx
any get a good vege kebab then? ..i need the same thing but am thinking more of a 'shami' type veg kebab , not just stringing vegetables on a stick ... anyone?
you may try soaking green moong overnight, grind with little water the next morning with cumins seeds and ginger. salt/spices/corainder leaves/chillies etc.. according to taste. (I do have a friend who likes to add cottage cheese to it)shape into kebabs and panfry.
hope this helps.
Hi everyone, since you are all talking about Indian food, I had a question in mind, I will be moving next year to Hong Kong and I am trying to do some research on Hong Kong. Do you get Indian groceries easily in hong kong or should I bring them along from India.Thanks.
Regards
There are lot of Indian stores around in Hong Kong. You don't need to bother carrying all the spices and daily indian kitchen neccessities from India. I would say that you better get the tawa (on which you make chappathi) and all the other kitchenware you use in indian kitchen should be bought from India as those things are not widely availably in Hong Kong. Another thing which is better off bringing from India would be tulsi leaves as you can't get it easily from here.
Thanks Sukhi...So I shouldn't bother to bring spices and pulses. I will get Tawa & maybe pressure cooker and other kitchenware. But otherwise you said mostly you get everything. That's a relief. Thank you.
