I am also interested in findig out more. :-) I have just been with BJ United, but they are really pricey and I am not fully confident in what they tell me, because they seem to want to sell a lot of extra things all the time and so on...

Hello Ginger An,

Actually, I did not see any gynea in Beijing. I started all the thing (all the tests) in France and thought that I will be manage to do an IUI before coming to China but the schedule was not good and the doctor thought that we might better have e IVF....and I realy fear starting all the things again in China and don't know how much it is...so I am looking for people who can give me some advice.
Here am I !

Dear Ginger,

Chaoyang hospital used to provide iui and ivf, since new regulations appose from government. They can only do the iui at this stage. Part of the staff is impolite but Gynea is very friendly. Recently they move to new building, the place is clean and modern. The Iui will cost for 1200rmb, but there will be other cost at 6500rmb for blood test and medicine and scan & doctor fee. I was unfortunate for this operation, but lots local success.

The best Ivf can be done at Beijing 3rd hospital, it is impossible to get appointment there. I went there once, you need to flight for registration from the local. Then you waited for 6 hours to see the doctors. The nurse was rude and often questioned why you are foreigner come here instead of seeing doctor at your own country.

Thanks for your information, I ever gone thur an iui process in my country n was unsuccessful too.
Have you done anything in Beijing 3rd hospital so far? and where's the location? I wonder why are the nurses must behave that way? I don't think i can stand it.

Does the doctor in Chaoyang Hospital speak english or should I go with someone who speak chinese ?
Chin Chin, what is the name of your genico you see there ?
I will have a FIV in my country but do the preparation in China and I would like to be well followed.
