My daughter likes it a lot better than her experience in Kumon ! And, she's finally really learning what "math" is about, instead of memorizing HOW to add and subtract by drilling her.
E nopi is from Korea,..... becoming very popular around HK.
The programme is more diverse than Kumon. And the booklets are much more colourful.
My daughter's one hour includes 1 booklet of Basic Thinking (math), and Critical Thinking (1 booklet) as well. FOr the homework, it's the next booklet of Basic, and next of Critical. She finishes it in 5 minutes.
Of course, the upper levels will get harder, but so far, she likes it. During the class, it's a group setting, different levels, just the tutor/teacher watches each child's own progress. Do a little puzzle solving with wooden blocks....
Many centers, my daughter is 4, and we are paying $ 600 for 1 month's lesson. 1 hour, 1 time a week.
(I am based in Hong Kong)
