We always loved using our Dr. Brown bottles for its anti-colic features, till we read about the potential issues with bisphenol A. I have been researching online for bisphenol-free replacements with good air vent system to reduce/eliminate colic in young babies. Bornfree seems popular but the reviews are not all positive. Does anyone have good experience with other brands? I also have a couple of Pigeon bottles and the Medala bottles (both bisphenol free) but they seem very basic and my child does not like using either.
Bfree is a very good one with extra air vents which stops the bubbles and therefore 'colic'.
It's basically like Dr. Brown with added features to avoid colic symptoms.
We just bought the new ones in 'Jusco' but surely its held in all big shops.
Make sure you go for the Bfree Plus. You will see a little sign on the packaging indicating that is is free from Bisphenol A.
I brought my bottles online from babybfree.com which are also free of bisphenol A. Friends with the Bfree bottles said they didn't like washing it as it has that extra tubing inside it. With Sweetdreamz bottles, they have an extra valve which helps prevent ear infection and colic.
I think they are only sold online in UK but I got a relative to bring them back to me. Also worth investing in a few more teats.
