Where baby can swim

Would like to take my 14 month old daughter for first swimming lessons. Can anyone recomend a safe, clean swimming pool in beijing with tuition specifc for babies.

Try Harry Wright swim classes in ESF in Pok Fu Lam. Really good and our baby is very happy. The next term will start in January and finish in March.

Speaking of swimming... I noticed that some classes require parents to be in the water with the children until they are 5. Some allow children to take class on their own starting 3+. Does anyone know which approach is more effective?

I am located in Beijing so I am looking for a recomendation of beijing Swimming pool suitable for baby and also one that has special lesson classes for mother and baby.

By five children should be quite able to swim on their own if they start early. My wife used to teach swimming. She says teaching is most effective with the parents away from the pool.
