When do you give cereal to you baby? morning/afternoon/evening? which kind of cereal? differences among oat, barley, millet,,,?

how old is your baby? if starting I give in the afternoon. I used Organix pure Cereal for the start. oat, barley, millet wait till after 7 months but I added in puree apple, pear and sometimes banana to the cereal after 2 weeks. depend on your baby and you.

Hi. i gave Heinz baby 1st cereal when my bub turns 6 months old. I followed Gina ford's routine in how much to give. it started with 1 teaspoon at 11am feed and this increases overtime and then, after 3 days, when bub took well of the cereal, i transfered to 6pm feed. my bub is now 6.5 months, so haven't try other cereal yet.

Hi, I do exactly what wounwounbee described above but i use Organix stage 1. BB is now 5.5 months. Will introduce oat, barley, millet a bit later say 6.5 - 7 months.

i started out with rice cereal and then about after a month or so introduced oats cereal for breakfast and then later also other cereals.
it's really up to you. whichever cereal you're comfortable with.
