can anyone help please?
We're considering on accepting a place at Kellett School for my son from September we're coming from the UK - are there any Kellett Parents out there that can help me answer a few niggling questions? Need to make a decision soon so any advise is really apreciated.
Does the school still looklike a building site?
What is the quality of the teaching?
Is the school very academic? Or is there a good balance?
What's it like being on the side of a dual carriageway - should I be worried about the air quality?
The School will have an extra long vacation this year to finish the building by September. In regards to the air quality it is a worry and the new building is even closer to the dual carriageway which is an extremely busy road and with the pollution generally in HK already dire, this maybe something you would wish to take in to consideration.
thanks jjchan - do your kids go the school?
what is the teaching like? And what are the other parents like - is it quite a 'stuck up type school'or family friendly?
i'm not sure whether to take this place or hang ou and see if any of the other schools i have applied for come through? any advice out there? Please help?!
I don't think most people would feel comfortable answering your questions openly on this forum - especially if they are not positive. Location not ideal due to the excessive amount of pollution from the highway. Not sure if you are aware, school places are not easy to obtain... so you could accept and then move when a better offer comes up.
