Ive been on a diet for the past 6 weeks and lost 6 kilos in total, im sticking to the diet just the same as ive done the past 6 weeks but this week gained 2 kilos back? How is this?, this is very disheartening.

Did you use a different scale?
Maybe it is a gain of muscles from your exercising?
Are you still losing centimetres?

Congratulations! Fantastic effort. If you have been exercising then the muscle you have gained will show on the scales. I bet if you had done measurements at the beginning and now you are way smaller. Don't be disheartened, this is very normal.Also at certain times of the month ( women, of course ) you will gain a little but it will go again. You should be really proud of your achievements.
Congratulations Sheep! Fantastic. Definately take measurements too. I do mine at the beginning of each month. All in all you really just want to look better and feel better right. It's not just the numbers. I'll bet you're still smaller even though two kilo's returned.
