Hypothyroid during pregnancy

Does anyone know of a good endocronologist to refer to me for my hypothyroidism? I have a history of thyroid problems for the last 8 years and have been seen by my endo in San Francisco, regularly; every month now that I am 16 weeks pregnant with my first. Trying to decide if I should stay here in San Francisco and have the baby. If anyone has any reccomendations I would greatly appreciate it since we are planning a trip next week to HK to interview OB's, tour private Hospitals and hopefully and endo as well. Thank you!

try calling the Hongkong Sanatorium and ask for
Dr. Elaine Tsui. I have used her for my thyroid
problems.

Hi, I would also suggest asking your endocrinologist in SF if he or anyone in his practice know of anyone here whom they could recommend and could check out while you are here.

Hi there,
You posted re: hypothroidism during pregnancy a while back and i'm just wondering if you found a good endocrinologist here in HK. I have an 18 mth old toddler and developed hypothryoidism after her birth. We want to have # 2, but my husband wants to see a specialist first to ask some questions about hypothyroidism and pregnancy before we go ahead. Any info you have would be great. Thanks!
