Chronic, miserable cough

Hi everyone,

Can someone recommend any doctor in HK specializing in pulmonary problems?

I have had a cough since mid-January. Doesn't matter if it's day or night, working or sleeping. It's a very deep cough usually with quite a lot of sputum. Sometimes the cough is so forceful it feels as if I'm going to vomit.

I've already been to various clinics and hospitals in Taiwan and Shenzhen. Have gone through 3 different antibiotic treatments, as well as various asthma and allergy medicines. Nothing at all works. Not even temporarily. Now I guess it's time to give HK a try. In the past, whenever I have had a chronic cough, it's usually gotten better on it's own anywhere from 6 to 8 weeks. Not this time though.

If anyone could point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.

Hi, My wife has had a persistent cough for the past few months as well. Quite mild at first, but now it's gotten heavier. Initially diagnosed as Bronchitis and she was put on a course of antibiotics which helped for a while but then it went back to the same as before.

If someone has a good recommendation, i'd appreciate it too....
