Guys how would you feel if your chinese gf would bleach her hair, eyebrows and eyelashes? (before was black - now white)

Why does it matter that she is Chinese?… folk dye their hair all over the world… Does it look good?… btw it is called fashion.

It all depends, each guy's taste is different. Personally I do not think blonde hair looks good on an Chinese person, but again, that just my opinion

Coz she IS chinese =) . Light hair is more or less common among caucasians but I haven't seen a natural blonde chinese yet. BTW I heard of fashion, it's a TV channel rite?

it's coming out on 10th of june. not sure how impressed i'm gonna be yet.

Agreed. I was just wondering whether it's just me or not. That's why decided to do a reality check with the rest of world.

Besides, it's not gonna be blonde but white. She's playing a ghost in a movie and coz of this job they'll bleach her and she'll walk around like that throughout june and july.

i asked of option of a wig or hair spray but no luck.

i'm just trying to imagine what would it feel like walking like that in streets of hk and the picture is grim. oh, what fun days await us!!!

I think if she knows how to wear it she could look fantastic... just get her to do the whole vamp look... or a Lil Kim meets Gwen Stefani...

Oh and Chinese folk can and do have natural white hair.

my exact sentiments! i told that for horror movie it fits perfectly but bringing work home and walking around like that is weird. it's good to hear that i'm not going nuts but some guys think the same way i do. i was feeling like a guy from dark ages stuck in hk =)

Oh stop being a wuss and wondering what other people think! Right? I mean, who cares what others think of your white haired gf when you meet her at the bus stop? Truth of the matter is people in HK will stare at you AND at her, so it will be shared discomfort :o) It will make you two stronger as a couple. Hell, at least be grateful she is getting paid to get stared at, eh? I get stared at just for walking with my family, being mixed race/culture. My fiance gets stared at for being white...or is it for being a ginge? Lol.

Nah seriously, dont give a crap what others think, its only temporary, its not like thats the way things will be for the rest of your life...and rest assured...yeah you will get stared at, but you'll get used to it! :o)

Plus when the movie comes out there will be a lot of folks who watch it who will be like "no way! I remember seeing that ghost at a bus stop!" or "I saw that ghost and her gwailo bf on the MTR!"

I think you should be proud of your girlfriend and not embarrassed... go to a club and see what folk wear out these days... or get some Japanese fashion magazines...

Or if you are really that worried about how your girlfriends career will affect your street status then go to one of the hair supply shores on Temple St and get her a wig and/or some black hairspray...

And just think how you'll feel if she makes it big time and gosh shock horror she has to do a nude scene... I can just hear the tongues wagging and pointing at you...

Sigh... Square.


Oh and if it makes you feel any better one of the senior managers at a certain banks wife is a full on goth and he quite happily and proudly takes her to the 28f bar... and no-one bats a fake eyelash.

If he were me, it would be easier for him I guess coz he would know that life is too short to sit around giving a rats arse what other people think of you or the people you love. And in his case, its 2 months in an entire life...focusing on the big picture brings it all into perspective. Or so I hope. :o)

She’s an actress and is going to love the attention… or at least learn how to deal with it... and you never know ahe may decide to adopt the hair as her signature look… and I bet she will get stopped by model scouts etc... and I do strongly advise her to get some head shots done whilst she has the hair... hell I'll even style them...

I think white hair looks cool on Asians and who cares what other people think.People stare at me too with a Chinese guy and a green eyed baby and he's younger than me so they maybe think 'Look at the gweilo with the gigalo' I don't give a rat's a##se what people think.This town is too much about appearances.
