divorce without seeing the other person

I am still married with my ex, it was purely for immigration purposes. We don't talk now, not through arguing, but just too soon.

Anyway, when we want to get divorced, (it is completely amicable), do we have to go together, as I would rather not see her, does anyone know?

No you dont have to go together if its a simple "Uncontested" divorce, all it has to be is one person file, the other sign/not contest...and presto chango, you can be free as a bird (in a few months etc) but depending on where you got married you may have a 1 year or 2 year wait period (seperation) before you can file.
