Shipping a parcel to Hanoi

Does anyone know the cheapest and most reliable way of sending a parcel (of around 20kg) to Vietnam? It doesnt need to arrive particularly quickly, so it doesnt need to travel by air.

Mail - you can either send it to an address OR Poste Restante.

If you use Post Restante your addressee will have to pay a small fee which is the equivalent of delivering the parcel to a local address.

ALL PARCELS ARE CUSTOMS INSPECTED and religeous and pornogrpahic materials will be seized and CD's or DVD's may be subject to a 'screening' fee.

One thing that should be noted: The VietNam Buu Dien (Post Office) is extremely honest and theft from the mails is extremely rare.

Customs duties can be applied though, and those can be steep (or so I have been told by those that have been hit with them).
