Posted by lavaflow (970 days ago)
Hello,
I'm moving to HCM in 2 weeks !!
My office is located at Tan Bihn area, out of centre.
I'm seeking a place that is nearby the office or conventient daily routines.
1. Anybody could give me clues about :
a hotel/inn that I can bring my dog in together for a couple of weeks ?
Or
2. Introduce me a few of good house agents ?
Or
3. Share a flat with me for a while ? I'm a neat young female expat. non-smoker.
Tku. in advance !

Hello,
I am now in bangkok and going to move to HCM in November 2005. I am Hanoian Vietnamese but work in BKK for 3 years now, i also need to rent a room in HCM and wish to share the apartment as it is expensive and dangerous to stay alone.
I always stay in the little Evergreen Lien Phuong hotel Dist 3, near Tan Binh dist.(bichlien@hcm.vnn.vn). This is small but very good, convenient, very clean and safe hotel. Room starts with number 701~707 is good, cost abt 15USDnet/day, nicer room 3 stars standard also available.
I am a proper working female and helpful.
Looking to hearing from you.

Hi, Tks. for great help.
I will check this hotel .
When will you arrive HCM ? My flight is on 25/Nov.
So I will go around with some agents to choose a apart or a villa .
You are welcome to join together. Maybe we can be the good roommates ?

Thanks too. I will be in HCM on the first week of Dec.
Wish you could find a good place in HCM. It may take time to find the right one. Always be careful when you are out there.

Hi, Ly ,
I contacted this inn , there is no any website or pic, to see me :(
Is it a family style or business type of hotel ?
Meanwhile I searched 3 more at Tanbing areas :
1. Jacques
2. Hoang Long hotel
3. Minh Vi hotel
Do you know something about them ? Jacques is pretty cozy French type ,I like it .
The rest 2 , no idea.
See ya :)

If you check the daily English language newspapers you will often find a self-service apartment in a hotel (large room or room with kitchen) for a decent monthly rate.
Some even relax the rules on having visitors.
These are not those crazy priced foreigner apartments where the rent are counted in thousands each month.

I have no idea about Jacques hotel. For Hoang Long and Minh Vi, i recommend you should not take it. How to explain you, it may not be comfortable for people stay in long like you.
U could send email to ask Ever Green to send u their pic. U can also ask for long time stay as an apartment as per Daklak's advice (they have VIP room with kitchen to stay long). They are flexible. You can bring in your dog. I like the clean room, good services and its safe, beleive me. It is mainly for business people/Vietnamese oversea who stay long and like quite and clean one. (their website:http://www.evergreen.bvom.com/ in under construction right now, pity)
