spa, & high end fun in HCM

Would apprecitae your help. Hubby going to HCM in Oct- I will tag along and basically splash out there as desperately need a holiday from the kids and work (will pamper hubby at night *hee*). Anyway, just want to know the cost and places to go for full out pampering (spa , massage etc) and excellent food in a classy place.

Have been there once - top notch service - only issue I would say is that its a bit out of the way about half way between the airport and town.

Check with some of the new 5star hotels in HCM as well - Sheraton and Hyatt...they may have spas.

I am partial to Lemongrass... great seafood soup! Located in D1 - ask at your hotel they will like know it

Im not sure if the Resto's name is Hoi An - but its a local 5star resto along Le Than Ton St. Food is marvelous. Great to treat expat friends - very pricy and nice local string band/players ---not the noisy type band. But the local traditional like players.

And like is said - food is great!

Get ready for your wallets to be drained out though...few million dongs for the food...but worth it.

Will try out those places- we've booked Sheraton cos heard the service is good there- also plan to have drinks at Carvelle and visit Rex hotel while we're out- nosing around for a next visit
