A small local English club in Hanoi

It is Hanoi Youth English Club - HYEC, an English speaking club of Vietnamese young people in Hanoi. I'm just writing to ask for your support and joining the club because it would be great if some expat friends can come to join us.

There are around 20 people sitting down and discussing within 2 hours about various topics. If you have time, this is a good chance for you to meet and learn more about Vietnamese people and culture, esp. young people's thought.

Time: 17h45'- 19h30' every Sunday
Place: Trung Vuong school, 26 Hang Bai Street, Hanoi.

To Ed: It is not an ad, just sharing a place which others may be interested in. I understtand this should be in Meeting Place or st like that, but that forum is empty - no one there!

I would suggest you place this in the Whats On section of the site. Also you could put this in the A-Z.

I must say that having to post things in different based upon unclear criteria makes it more difficult to get something read by others! I have been thinking about posting information about a linux users group that is taking shape in Hanoi, but obviously tech talk is not the place for it (although it is a technical subject), and if "Whats On"is the place for such posting - where do I find it? Whats On is not even listed in the drop down menu!

Having dropped into the HYEC the other night, I recommend that other expats stop by and say hello!

Even thhough there had been a heavy storm shortly before, there were about a dozen college and post-college adults chatting and role-playing in English. A friendly group, pretty good to very good English skills.
