Please note this is not a joke, this email has been sent by people you know and can trust for the authenticity of the content. The email and its attachment have been virus checked.
This is an urgent request for your help. We need this email to get to as many people as possible. The power of email means that no matter whether
you can directly help in this request or not, you will have contacts in your address book that you can forward this mail to. The idea is for it to deliberately act like a chain mail. Eventually the mail will find its way to an area in the world where the likelihood of success is greater. i.e. the Far East.
You may not know anyone in the Far East but if you send it to as many contacts you can and they likewise send it on and so on and so on..the power of emails will be seen. Now, on to the very, very serious message of this email.
Eddie Gibson is a young man of 20 years. He travelled to Vietnam during a "gap year" in his education. He has subsequently gone missing. He was last heard of in November 2004. The British Embassy in Phnom Penn have all but given up hope of his safe return.
However his Mother has, quite rightly, not given up. She lives in the hope, that with your help, forwarding this message onto as many people as possible around the world will result in some positive information as to Eddies whereabouts.
As we've said you may not know people in the Far East, or even your contacts , or even their contacts but as the chain develops it WILL find its way to the Far East and then we may start to see results.
Please help Eddie's mother, Jo Clarke, Dont be judgmental and assume this won't work...do it , you have nothing to lose but Jo Clarke does, her much loved 20 year old son.
