Work Permits/Business Visas

Does anyone know the procedure for obtaining a Business Visa for Vietnam. The Vietnamese embassy here appear not to know (or unwilling to tell me). I would appreciate hearing anyones advice/past experiences on the matter. Cheers.

I picked up a business visa no problems what so ever. I am a canadian citizen and I applied in canada. I sent in a form I downloaded off their website (sorry I no longer have the site but I think you can do a search for a vietnamese consulate in whatever country you are from)along with my passport, 2 passport sized photos and a 196 canadian dollars. I sent in a couriour envelope with another self addresed envelope inside. I sent it on a wednesday and received it the following thursday. easy as pie. goodluck if you are still looking for this info.

Gordon, I was just wondering if you were already sponsored by a company when you applied for your business visa or not.

Not sure about in your country but you can just come here on a tourist visa and pick up a business visa from a travel agency easily.
