Another Dumb Tourist Question

Sorry guys - I like getting cabbies/tuk tuks or whatever to chaperone me around the city in order to get all the sites in. How much should I be paying them for the day/per hour. In Malaysia for example, you might pay USD $5 per hour...or RM20...would imagine its much less in Vietnam - $10 for the day? Any advice is greatly appreciated...

No Tuktuks but taxi's you would have to negotiate wih a driver - guess at $5/hr ..it won't be pennies. Better might be to grap a cyclo - like a rickshaw- they can take you around cheap for a day. Be more fun than a taxi. Hanoi is quite small so one of those would be more than adequate. ask your hotel for advice on a price..
