Social life in HCMC

I am a single 26 year old Aussie girl and have been offered a job in HCMC. Although I like to work hard, I also like to play hard too. Will I find anyone to hang out with over there, or is it mainly couples? I need to make a decision pretty quickly so any honest responses would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Nam guy - thank you for that. When you say not all married, do you mean most are? It's just that when I went there for the intervire in Feb, I saw mostly expat couples.

Hi Water - I will probably be starting june 1 - but looking at moving there a week or so earlier to settle in...

MRXXXX, if drinking is a predominent part of Vietnamese ex pat culture I think I am cominf ot the right place... Mmmmmm..... Tiger Beer!
