Expat Salaries in VN

Would be interested in hearing what are the ranges for expat salaries in VN and benefits provided. I've seach various boards and google but haven't been able to find a good source.

Also, how much does one need to make (gross, in USD) in order to live in Hanoi or HCMC as an expat? Thanks!

I think it depends on what business you are in, and if you are an `expat expat. the ones who are true expats (relocating through their company) make tonnes of money, but the ones who are here and look for jobs locally have to live on smaller budgets. Vietnam is not a really cheap country to live in, compared to many other parts of Asia.
