Cell Phone in Vietnam

Moving to Hanoi and wondering if my phone will work there. What kind of network does the country have (GSM, CDMA, PCS??)

Hi,
You may use it in Vietnam if your phone is Nokia 8890 (luxury phone with antenna), anyway easy to get a cell phone here in Vietnam.The choice may be bigger than in US.

Hi Tim,

I am not that technical, but I know lots of people take their mobiles and they work, unless you are from the States. I guess that is a totally different system. So worth trying to take yours
