Hi everyone, this sounds ignorant but i want to be informed properly...how can be like me get a working visa in HK? I am a degree holder, have job experiences in a USA based company but the office located in Phil. Job vacancies in HK required applicants to have a valid working visa. What will be the things needed to do to have a working visa (not a DH visa)?
Assuming that I've already a working visa from a company for 2years and got terminated after 1yr, can I use the remaining years of my visa in working in other company? or the visa will automatically not valid after the termination(and will just have 14 days of extension)?
Another question, is applying for work online really disappointing? because no one is replying on my emails...sorry I'm out of the topic.
Sweet_24: You can't use back the same working visa once it is terminated for another employer, u will need your new employer to sponsor and get you a new visa.
a new employer may be able to transfer the existing visa but it will still need to obtain all approval through immigration dept.
Someone on other post just mentioned that it is a very limited percent of applications that are successful online. I would chase all online applications with a phone call. it shows initiative, dedication and motivation and becomes more personal. I would also ask the potential employer about any other opportunities with their company if you are not successful. Good luck for your job search. The good news is it is a good time to look.
